Then second half of Choose your own adventure reveals the true acts of the book. How does the main character get off the island

of Tenopia. He tries to escape like no one does, the game of life as I call it. He needs help from anyone or anything that will listen. Mueller's audience is entranced by his words and tactics at writing this game novel. We tend to play a game that if you have been on the island turn to this page or that page. No one will turn to any page but keep on reading. This sensational novel is for anyone who listens.

How does he escape from the crogocides the second time? He must endure ravishing obstacles and come in contact with so many species for directions on how to escape the island. Frias, listens to the main character, telling him every obstacle he has encountered. "The gateway to heaven," is what Frias calls the planet of Tenopia. We are met by an old woman who tells the main character that "East is least and west is best", (Mueller, pg. 101). As readers, we are intrigued by the way Mueller puts everything together and keep his readers on their toes. Every step of the way, Mueller's writing gives us something to look forward as well as giving us quite a bit of scare.

Mueller's audience are captivated by Mueller's sense of irony. "Two monks that agree with each must be lying", (Mueller, pg. 104). We are intrigued by this. The main character of the story starts to know he is overwhelmed. He still continues. The main character makes it to Zindor after being captivated by the crogocides again. The main character of the book is dedicated to reaching Kabran, where he is from. He travels long distances and make some wise choices, so that he may escape. The writing of the book is intricate and detailed as we, Mueller's readers are thrilled to turn to the next page.

This reading for this week conceptualizes the importance of multimodality in a sense we, as readers, can relate. We explore with semiotics and visual illustrations to help us communicate, as so in the reading, Choose Your Own Adventure. As readers, we are pulled into a world through persuasive word techniques and a game like wordings to help us understand the relationship between graphic, visual, and verbal wordings.

Words and illustrations together using background knowledge may create something innovative or new that tells us a story or to relay a message. Readers are included in the book, thus helping the reader illustrate the text. The illustrations in the book make the book a multimodal instrument, in that we can follow along and contemplate the next move. Readers get a deep understanding of the inner message of the book, through repetitive verbal illustrations and directions that includes the reader to continue on reading. This is a wonderful method that includes reader and author dialogue.

According to Hocks, "Visual rhetoric, or visual strategies used for meaning and persuasion, is hardly new, but its importance has been amplified by the visual and interactive nature of native of hypertext and multimedia writing" (Hocks, Mary E. “Understanding Visual Rhetoric in Digital Writing Environments.”, pg. 1).

The text does not focus on our background knowledge on any particular subject, but we gain new knowledge in a exciting way as we are visually intrigued. Readers are subjected to new media and communication techniques that are different from our own.

The text of the book is easy to read but confirms its agency as well. Good read!

Second half

Shipka explains to her readers the very essence of effective communication. She states that communicating, using all digital modes is the same as attending and analyzing a party, when all the guests leave the room. "Tracing the process of what happened during the gathering."

Shipka writes about technology and how new technology is favored over the old. How these n ew means of communicating is also favored amongst writers and composers and how first year English learners are affected by these new means of language and communication.

Shipka discusses the levels of writing from interpersonal accounts to social communication of the masses. We listen because as authors, we are engaged in interpersonal and public writing in order effectively communicate. Collaborative writing and writing beyond the individual is very important as authors and learners. As learners, we are also history makers in our communication to the public and private sectors. Shipka poses a serious argument; how do we communicate to young writers on how to engage effectively of in their writing?

of the digital world.

As a writer, I have learned the history behind

digital material and technology, for the use of written language and

document design. As I get to know the digital lingo, I want to become

a professional in the digital era. I strive to know what goes here and

how do I make these two things work all for document design and

written presentations.

I am on a remarkable journey, to establish myself and use efficient communication that will enlighten and help future leaders of America. As a scholar, in academia, I want to create innovative techniques for published works, whether it's for the arts or a simple guide for document designers. Currently as a technical writer student, I will learn the basics of design principles and rhetoric composition both online and on paper. I strive to establish myself for my career goals in Technical Communication.

I want to bring to the workplace my story and my journey so that I may be equipped for future company goals and engagement. I believe Digital Technology has evolved to where users can put any idea onto a digital space.
